Obviously no one is Italian here, judging by some of the previous answers, which ALL grossed me out.
-1lb of ground beef (preferably 75% or 80% lean)
(you can use a mix of ground beef, ground pork, and ground veal if you prefer, I just find it to be a hassle to find all three at the same time)
-1 clove fresh garlic minced or grated (I use a fine grater, a step up from a microplane because I'm not that good with a knife)
- 1/4 cup parsley (fresh or dried, use less if using fresh)
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan (parmigianno reggiano) cheese
- 1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 whole large egg
Mix everything together in a large bowl. Shape into meatballs whatever size you desire - rollingt them like you would a snowball to throw. (I have smallish hands, so I get about 8 meatballs to this recipe) Bake them in a 400 degree oven on a baking sheet for 12-15 minutes OR brown them in a skillet (put 1 tablespoon of olive oil in the pan) until browned on all sides. Simmer in tomato sauce for at least 45 minutes to 1 hour. (longer is okay)
*You can increase amounts of this recipe to suit your needs, just make sure you double or triple or whatever each thing. (I always use more garlic since that's what my family likes.)What is a simple to make meatball recipe with little ingredients (big meatballs)?

lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/3 cup water (more or less)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 medium onion
garlic
salt
pepper
PREPARATION:
Mix all ingredients together. Don't add all of the water at one time. Mixture should be moist but not so that the meatballs fall apart.
Shape meatballs to desired size and place on a broiler pan (I wet my hands before shaping each meatball and it helps make a nice meatball.) Broil until outside is slightly brown on one side and then turn and broil the other side.
When finished, add to spaghetti sauce and simmer at least 20 minutes.
don't eat that hamburger mince!! but an easy recipe is grate an onion and some carrot and mix into the meat with a squirt of ketchup, an egg, some salt and pepper and whatever herbs you may have. roll into balls and brown.
I don't have a specific recipe, but i would suggest some ground beef/ground turkey, bread crums, salt, black pepper, ground chilli pepper/flakes, a few cloves of garlic, some onions, maybe some parsely too? It depends on what you have available, but you can make good meat-balls without too many ingredients : ].
edit* zippy : i'm italian as well! I just like mixing things up in different ways for fun.
Beef, grated onion, salt and pepper.
Combine and roll into balls. This is what I use and its tops. I dont like breadcrumbs cause it makes them mushy.
Just chop up some onions and a green bell pepper. Mix it with the meat and an egg or two and some italian bread crumbs with some salt and pepper. You can also add worcheshire sauce to them if you have it.
